The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites

Pros: It was clean, soundproof, amazing views, complementary food and drinks. It is worth the money, an experience by it self. I spent hours just watching through the window. Also, thanks to the girl from the reception for changing me from my room, it was to high up for me.

Cons: It has a weird casino-style design but when you get used to it is pretty good. Remember, to order from uber, send them to Flower St. Room service is pretty neat and gold price, quality and quantity. They should sell water.

Great hotel, reasonable price, superb staff.

Pros: Great staff from valet parking to the bar. Good location, but you will need an Uber to get to the tourist areas. However, it does mean you can get out of LA quicker when you leave if you're driving.

An excellent choice in DTLA

Pros: Excellent location, close to the metro and safe. The top floor revolving bar was super nice and the top floor restaurant super expensive but the best steak we’ve ever had. Room was spacious and with an amazing view (we were on the 20th floor). The bar at the reception area had plenty of breakfast and snack options and was open from very early till very late. We would definitely stay here again when in LA!

Cons: Minor details - parking is indeed more expensive vs others in the area (but convenient so we used it) and breakfast bought at the property was very expensive. Also in 3 days they never changed the sheets and from the humidity, they had a funny smell.

3 night short stay

Pros: The pool was really good, the 28th floor view was incredible!

Cons: That a lot of the restaurants and shop area was vacant and Dark, gives off an eary feeling on those 2 floors.

Very comfortable stay at this centrally located hotel close to the Metro

Pros: Very spacious rooms that were spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. What more can you ask for?

Cons: A lack of fresh air?

Downtown LA

Pros: Very impressive hotel with excellent city views. The staff were fantastic, not just because of helping me on arrival after I left my passport at the check in desk! The room was excellent, plenty of space and very clean. The pool was a great perk of this hotel which I enjoyed. Nice location which was close to metro stations and museums etc.

Cons: The bathroom looked a little dated and the shower seemed weak in comparison to others

Great experience in the L.A. Downtown

Pros: Great location just in the Bunker Hill part of LA Downtown, close to the Metro station and bus stops. The building is a tourist attraction itself, not only because of its architecture and outside lifts, but also due to history. Hotel casted in multiple Hollywood films. View from the rooms on the higher stocks is just epic. Westin provides also cosy and well equipped experience so I am satisfied.

Cons: The hotel build in 70s in some areas feels dated, it’s also sad that most of the shops in the shopping malls are closed and it’s empty. The outside pool is not convincing, it’s located on the public area where anyone can go by, so it does not feel intimate or exclusive even despite the gates with access restriction.

Very good hotel

Pros: The hotel locates in Los Angeles downtown near a metro station, so it is easy to travel there. It is also easy to travel by metro to many fine museums and attractions in Los Angeles. The breakfast was very good.

Pros: great location for exploring LA. close to the red line subway. good access by car to Hollywood and Beverly. parking across from the hotel in a garage
