Very good hotel but didn’t feel safe to walk around at the night time.

Pros: Good ambiance and big room. Close to super market and cafe.

Cons: Location is not that great for walking around in the evening but day time was fine. We booked 2 rooms for the 2 nights at the hotel with our family but we were disappointed that housekeeping was not done next day in our room. We had to ask the receptionist to provide us clean towels and tea/coffee. They did apologise and send the clean towels and refills for the tea and coffee table.

Cleanliness was superb, staff helpful and friendly.

It was better than staying in the Wayfarer in the next street but far too expensive

Pros: The room was a good size and had a very comfortable bed. We liked having a fridge in the room along with coffee making facilites. Albeit no tea bags!

Cons: Well where do I start? Fees - The district fee, Occupancy tax, LATMD assessment (whatever the heck this is), destination fee, and CA tourism assessment fee !!!!!!! This is shocking! The price for the room should be an all inclusive price, In the UK you can stay in a travelodge and get all the same facilites in the room without all these extra taxes and the price you see is the price you pay. Just shocking for Los Angeles!
