Great stay and excellent value for money.

Pros: I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Ventura and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is very well located right on the marina, and I had an oceanfront room with a beautiful view and lovely sunsets. The room was newly renovated, spacious, very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The property itself is quite basic, but it offers good value for money. It’s only about 2 minutes by car from the harbor, where you’ll find several restaurants and departures for cruises to Channel Islands National Park, and around 8 minutes from downtown Ventura. A convenient and practical choice if you want a good location, great views, and a comfrotable room without paying luxury prices.

Pros: Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful. We were in Ventura for 2 nights in order to be able to visit the Channel Islands, and this hotel was a walkable distance to the meeting location for the boat, which was highly convenient for us.

Close to Channel Islands ferry

Pros: This Holiday Inn is located directly at the marina. A short 20 minutes walk from the channel island ferry. We stayed here over the weekend with our family. This hotel is the perfect place if you want to take a boat or enjoying the beach nearby. The facilities are like any other decent Holiday Inn but the balcony made it nice.

Cons: It was a bit pricey but I guess it’s like this everywhere close to the coastline.

Pros: I loved the view we had , the pillows and bed were very comfortable. Staff were helpful

Cons: Air conditioning went off and didn’t work on two occasions, but the facility engineers were up within minutes to fix it

Pros: Fantastic location for us, on the marina and close to the Channel Island boat departure point. Very nice reception staff. Very clean. Huge suite with balcony overlooking the boats.

It was good

Pros: Rooms were very spacious and the whole hotel was clean. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable, sheets were comfortable. No complaints with the room at all. Breakfast always also good for a hotel breakfast. Nice location over all. FYI; there is a parking fee that you get charged when checking in.

Cons: We were in room 261 which I'd right next to the exit door to the bridge so we kept hearing that door slam shut all late night and early morning which was really disturbing. We wanted to sleep in but when you keep hearing a door slam (and I mean SLAM) it makes it very difficult. You should put a stopper or at least a sign because it stops guest from having a peaceful night and takes away from the stay as a whole.
