Ventura beach vibes with comfortable accommodation and engaging staff .

Pros: The location was great and easy valet parking The rooms were very comfortable The staff were fantastic especially in the bar / restaurant and the parking guys !

Cons: The only small complaint was the ice machine on our level wasn’t working !

Perfect stop over

Pros: Had a great welcome and we accepted the valet parking which was nice and easy. Staff were very friendly and location was perfect. Room was lovely and spacious with a lovely view. Food at the restaurant was delicious and drinks at the bar with the views were very relaxing.

Cons: The windows looked very dirty but were in fact damaged by years of sand having been blown against them ..... couldn't stop the wonderful view though! Valet parking was not what it would be in Europe; A few scruffy looking staff who basically told you where to park! Only 8$ more than self-park option so not exactly a problem

Pros: View was great. Watched Elon Musk’s rocket launch from Vandenburg. Spectacular! Woke up to watch the surfers at Surfers Point both mornings.

Cons: The gentleman at the reception desk was kind of blah. Didn’t seem to care if we were there or not.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Crown Plaza and stayed an additional day to enjoy the beautiful weat

Pros: The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Our sunset view was outstanding from our room's balcony as well as hearing the ocean.

Cons: We didn't have maid service except for one day, and that was a partial one at best. While we were in the room with our dog, we always put the sign on the door that we were relaxing. When we were not in our room, we removed the sign as we were at an all-day dog show. On the day they did do maid service, our bed was not made up, but towels changed out. They also left our balcony door wide open which was a bit unsettling entering the room that way.

Pros: Comfortable bed. Clean room. WiFi. Good location: 5 min walking distance to downtown and 1 min walking to the beach. Some rooms have good views of the ocean. Friedge and coffee maker in the room.

Cons: The glass door in the room was not a good idea since it does not block light at night. WiFi was not very stable during evening time.
