Pros: Absolutely gorgeous building, stylish decor, super comfortable bed in a perfect location. Loved sitting around the outdoor fire in the evening. Fantastic bar snacks and wine selection.

Cons: I know the restaurant is coming.

Beautifully curated hotel💫

Pros: Gorgeous boutique hotel in the heart of Ventura! This hotel was sooo perfectly curated, there was not one detail that was seen unnoticed! It was beautiful, immaculate, beds were comfortable and a walk to dinner! The esthetics were lovely! Only 2 bummers but def not deal breakers; the morning shower barely had hot water (our friends who were staying there in another room said the same thing) and the morning coffee that was at the bar was not hot but warm, tasted a little stale:( I think the coffee could have been better especially when you are staying somewhere as beautiful as this you want to be sipping fresh hot coffee in the living room with the beautiful light! Great stay though and a stones throw from LA! I’ve already told other friends about it!

Property with character

Pros: Beautiful property. Super nice staff, great location, very comfortable bed. I would stay on the upper level next time.

Cons: We stayed in a room on the ground floor and there was a loud AC unit near by. We could also hear people waking above us.

Excellent and exceeded our expectations!

Pros: We loved the style and comfort of the property and our room. The attention to detail was outstanding. The staff were always kind and helpful and we look forward to another trip to Ventura and stay at the San Buena

Cons: The mattress was a bit firm for us

Pros: Location, value, professional staff....from check in to check out, i felt special and my visit was welcomed

Cons: My room,was under a staircase and next to an exit door. It was loud!! Every step, every door slam echoed in my room....at night it was peaceful....a nice crowd....but during the day...it was a lil tough.

Pros: I liked the location, the room, the facilities, and the staff! I also liked the little touches of snacks in the refrigerator being available to us for free and the chocolate almonds and filtered water in the rooms

Cons: it would be nicer if they had a restaurant which I believe they are working on putting in and this might be a small thing, but they need to upgrade their toilet paper for that nice of a place they need to upgrade that!

Pros: great location. right off main street just a block away from all the shops, bars & restaurants. close enough for a quick walk but far enough away to avoid the noise & crowds.

Cons: this place was not designed to be a hotel. its a converted lodge which is its charm as well as its challenge. our first room had an all glass shower in the middle of the room. great if you are a voyeur or exhibitionist but maybe not the best if you just want some private time in the shower! not all the rooms are like this & the staff was very accommodating to move us into a more traditionally designed room w/ private bath & toilet. this wouldn't be a deal breaker but just be aware of what you are renting

Pros: Exceptional property. we would have rated it higher but they are still working on getting the restaurants open and they will also be putting in a pool/spa...

Cons: On site Resturant, but there are many great restaurants and bars within 3 blocks of easy walking

Pros: El lugar es muy lindo, la habitación es muy amplia, limpia, la cama cómoda, el baño equipado. La ubicación está muy buena.

Cons: En la zona del baño se necesita una mesita de apoyo para poner neceser o cosas así. Si bien hay un estante para ello, sentí que faltó lugar de apoyo en el baño.
