Pros: Loved the helpful staff & the clean facilities! Also liked the bakery & convenience store downstairs, which was great to buy affordable snacks & pastries before my trip to Union Station.

Cons: My room smelled of smoke for a few minutes when I raised the temperature on the thermostat. It helped when I lowered the AC temp to 50Β° -- the smell started disappearing by then.

Japanese omotenashi in LA makes stay feels at home

Pros: Excellent location as it’s only a 1min walk from subway station. As it’s a branch hotel from a Japanese hotel chain, it operates w Japanese hospitality. Love the amenities and common corner with microwave and hot water. There are also a 24h convenience store and a cafe that open early at 7am which really helps when I need to leave early for my appointment. Nearby has many Japanese eateries.

Cons: The toilet has smelly sewage smelly even tho it was clean and with no leakage. The foul smell was so strong that the whole room was filled w the foul smell if the toilet door was left open. I told the front desk the next day and they tried to fixed that. The sewage smell was still there but not as strong so I just bear with it for my remaining stay. Room size was normal, not big kind. It will be great if yukata is provided since it’s a Japanese hotel.

Great place

Pros: Easy check-in, room was clean and perfect for one night. We could also leave our bags with reception for the day after checking out.

Pros: The room interior and furniture are a little bit too old, but it's well maintained. Their staffs are very nice and warm-welcoming. Location is pretty strategic, there are lots of Japanese restaurants nearby. Considering the price I paid for with these plus points, I think it's the best hotel choice you can get in the LA downtown area.

Good

Pros: Location was great! It was right in the Little Tokyo. There was washer machine and dryer, which was very useful as I was traveling for more than a week.

Cons: As the hotel valet parking is not available until 11am in the morning, I had requested some guidance on the offsite parking before staying at the hotel, but the hotel was very rude on my question on the offsite parking. On the other hand, the front desk staffs were very nice assisting me on any questions that I had while staying at the hotel.
