Cool and warm vibes

Pros: I loved absolutely everything about the Capri Hotel: the vibe, the design of the common area, pool, and bedrooms, the team and the location. The staff was so considerate and welcoming! We were here to celebrate 10 years anniversary with my husband, kid and dog and the staff got us an amazing welcoming gift, a card and made our entire stay a delight. We were walking distance from Ojai best restaurants (Duchess, Nest, Little Gem), cute shops and the farmer market. We were so impressed how comfortable and beautiful the room was. We slept like babies and enjoyed the pool three times. Everything was super clean and nice.

Funky mid-century place in Ojai

Pros: Really funky vibe. We were welcomed with open arms into a great pool party (not sure this happens all the time but it was great fun). Our little dog was welcomed too. The pool is surrounded by lush palms and banana trees and has a real LA California relaxed vibe. The beds were huge and comfortable in simple but stylishly designed rooms. We enjoyed bicycling into Ojai for dinner in the evening (bring a head torch!). We will return - loved it!

Great little getaway spot.

Pros: Great big rooms, cleverly decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the pool area, lots of room for everyone. The lobby area was also very cool and comfortable with lots of great small batch brand merchandise for purchase. We will be back!

Good location preferred for family

Pros: The property is newly renovated, everything is good with relaxing pool and a little grassland. This will be good for a family or a group of friends.

Cons: As it was an old construction, the noise isolation is not so good. I am in 2nd floor balcony while I can clearly hear what the ground people talking. I want to enjoy my little balcony and the fresh air, but I can’t as it’s too noisy. Besides that everything is perfect.

Surpassed expectations!

Pros: Very spacious rooms with extremely comfortable beds. Had all the amenities and details you’d expect at a luxury hotel and the pool area was better than expected. Great location and able to walk to cafes, bars and shops easily

Cons: Bathroom somewhat antiquated. Shower cubicle small and splashed on to floor. No drawers for clothing.No breakfast availability or nearby restaurant.

Pros: the capri is by far one of the best hotels i've stayed at. all the small touches and gestures were noticed from the domus books in the lounge to the complimentary teas with accompanying oat milk and almond milk. they really considered the minutiae of details from the exceptionally warm welcome, lovely reception area with the fireplace, amenities, styling, the bath next to the king bed, heated pool + hot tub and complimentary bikes, we'll definitely be back.
