Solid overall stay, great location
Pros: The location was phenomenal, right next to the downtown in a very walkable area. The bed was comfortable, and there were several heating/cooling options for the temperature. The inn itself is gorgeous on the outside and there are two beautiful outdoor terraces you can enjoy.
Cons: There were some bugs and grime in the bathroom, and the overall lighting in the room was very cold and harsh. Also a total of two pillows and no extra blankets in the room.

A lovely old hotel that is well cared for; would stay again but only in a room with a king size bed.
Pros: Cleanliness Nice little alcoves in room that added extra touches Quiet; nice sturdy walls Lovely check in experience Felt very safe with good clientele Upgrades to a historic place Comfortable mattress Nice continental breakfast; great coffee and orange juice
Cons: The description of the room listed a Queen bed; however, the bed was actually a full size/double size bed and the bed squeaked a bit.

He was very friendly and considerate.
Pros: I would of liked a dresser for my room. I like to unpack and put things away to make it easier for selecting next days wear. plus a second end table would of been nice.
Cons: At night the front door should also have a code to get in like the back door. Homeless guy across the street. Kind of scary cause he could walk in without any problem.

Nice, private, cute little simple space
Pros: Location and back patio were really pretty and well kept-up. Staff were courteous and responsive. Very happy that the hotel was pet friendly!
Cons: The beds were small - reportedly queen size, but felt more like a double. Room size was small, so larger bed might have been difficult, so understandable, but it was uncomfortable for two large people. The room was a little sparsely decorated and only one place to sit. However, staff was lovely and very nicely brought a second chair from the kitchen for us.

Very nice. A little pricey for Santa Paula
Pros: I liked the location. A lot of restaurants and shops were in walking distance
Cons: The hotel is an old hotel. But it still nice for one night

we will definitely come back
Pros: A lovely, cozy town, great for a family weekend. Safe evening walks, priceless for us, losangelinos. The hotel is in the heart of Downtown. Cozy, clean rooms, everything works, impeccably.
Cons: I didn't know the hotel had breakfast, but it was offered to us. However, breakfast is too strong a word. Coffee, tea, croissants, apples, bananas, orange juice. No milk, no cereal, no sausages, no cheese. I have no complaints, it was still very nice and very welcome. But I would simply call it \

This is a cute historic Inn with comfortable beds.
Pros: The owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. The Inn was historic and very cute. The bathrooms were updated but the room itself had a historic feel to it. The bed was comfortable. The Inn is close to restaurants.
Cons: There is no dresser in the room so your close must stay in your suitcase. I wish that there was plain oatmeal without sugar available for the continental breakfast.

Sweet little inn in a convenient location.
Pros: I appreciated the convenient location close to historical landmarks, museums, and restaurants.
Cons: The continental breakfast could have had a wider variety of items. Only bread and orange juice. Once there was not even coffee. On the upside, I tried some of the local restaurant breakfasts. Rabalais down the block was the best.
