Pros: simple breakfast but acceptable. Staffs are nice and gentle parking fee is reasonable 23 dollars per day

Cons: not a walkable distance to the beach. no shops or restaurants nearby

Nice hotel in Santa Monica

Pros: A nice hotel in the area of Santa Monica. Free breakfast was a nice surprise. The parking is also convenient, although we need to pay for it.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was exceptional with a good range of healthy foods and drinks. Our stay was very comfortable.

Cons: Our room wasn't cleaned as frequently as we would have liked.

Excellent stay, I would 100% recommend staying at the Gateway Santa Monica Hotel

Pros: The hotel was great. Good room size with all you need for a few days stay. Everything was smooth, from checking in to when we checked out. Breakfast was good as well. Parking is an extra but it has a really competitive price; I'm pretty sure it would cost much more elsewhere.

Cons: There isn't much seating in the morning for breakfast but it was probably because we went at a busy time. The parking area is big enough but the parking lots are quite small; not a complain but just something you might want to be aware of if you have a large car.

A brief but very comfortable stay. Would happily return and stay for longer.

Pros: Clean , comfortable and modern. Lovely restaurant next door which was great for us as we arrived late and wanted to eat. Staff were lovely and welcoming and happy to put our cases in a secure room so we could do some sightseeing before leaving.

Traditional city centre hotel with ornate features, comfy bed and great central location.

Pros: Beautiful old building and comfortable rooms. Central location and valet parking.

Cons: A little noisy at night but can’t be avoided in the centre of a big city.

Good hotel in Santa Monica

Pros: Good location, close to the Santa Monica Pier, but not walking distance. Huge room, good noise insulation of the windows. The breakfast is rather a grab-and-go style, you can have a seat only in the main hall. Paid parking in the underground garage, there is plenty of space.

Cons: Expensive (but everything in this region). In the bathroom warm water with a bit lower pressure than usual.
