Pros: Bfast was okay not great. Granola was a puddle of yoghurt with a few bits of granola. Front staff were hit and miss in terms of how much they wanted to help, didn’t go out of their way to help with anything. Michael, who checked us in when we arrived late was friendly. Neri was lovely woman, personable.

Cons: The place has changed from when we stayed and it was PaliHouse owned. It is still a beautiful property but lacks the precious warmth.

Palihouse Santa Monica is a complete experience

Pros: Palihouse Santa Monica is a complete experience. A house that feels like home. The rooms are delicately decorated, and the country-house atmosphere is felt from the moment you enter, with its garden, reception furniture, books, bar, and fireplace. We had a room with a view of the garden that made us feel, for a moment, as if we lived in that dreamlike place. The location is just a few blocks from the Santa Monica Pier. The area is very quiet, with friendly neighbors, and both the neighborhood and the hotel are extremely pet-friendly. They were very thoughtful with our pet, providing a little bed, food bowls, and treats. We will definitely be coming back very soon.

Cons: Everything good.

A grand old lady that needs a bit of updating in tge kitchen

Pros: Tge team at Palihouse, Santa Monica are great. Almost like family.

Cons: Lack of kitchen gear

Nice Boutique Stay by the best part of Santa Monica Beach

Pros: Nice Boutique establishment. Almost the best part of the neighborhood in Santa Monica, is quiet, chill, and a nice walk range to the Santa Monica Pier. The property is a nice and old establishment and has been nicely taken care of. The room was spacious and equipped with a full kitchen. Ordered room service and everything was nice. Quite a boutique staycation experience by the beach.

Cons: The lobby didn't provide service in the afternoon, which could be a little discouraging as I would love to spend the afternoon in the yard and lobby if there were refreshments provided. But it is not a big deal.

Old-school luxury glam

Pros: Beautiful hotel, full of old school glam. The large garden was really welcoming and the cookies in reception were delicious. Really comfortable bed. You could borrow bikes to go for a cycle along the front. Perfect as a treat for the last couple of nights of our holiday.

Beautiful property, good location to Santa Monica Pier. Felt like a very safe area

Pros: I loved the location and valet service. Property itself is well maintained. Our valet guy Andy was so lovely and helpful. Really made us feel at home. Location of hotel felt very safe and clean

Cons: I appreciate it is an old building however, we had a problem with our toilet and the elevator is very old and hard to manage on your own with a lot of luggage. However, there is staff on hand who will help you with luggage

The best in Santa Monica by far.

Pros: We love it for its decor, its address and for the feeling of being home away from home. We always stay here when we go to Santa Monica. The bikes are a plus too!
