Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/El Segundo

Pros: There were so many thoughtful touches. Hot cocoa and popcorn in the evenings, a little snack & frozen meals section in the lobby (paid), variety for breakfast, spacious rooms, staff friendliness, and free shuttle.

Cons: The lobby did not answer my calls when I landed, to request a pick-up. I managed to catch the shuttle when it was dropping others off.

Pros: Clean and good beds. Close to LAX and good food close by to eat.

LAX overnight stay

Pros: We needed to overnight in LAX and chose this hotel as it was close. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The included free shuttle to LAX worked well. Breakfast was included and had a good variety.

Cons: It is a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable

This was a very pleasant two day stay – waiting to board an ocean liner

Pros: Price, airport shuttle, closeness to airport, good breakfast, clean rooms, and smiling staff

Cons: Absolutely nothing

Pros: We booked the hotel for our last day in LA, so we can be close to the airport. They had a shuttle bus, which is usually very busy but in our case there were only 2 other people. The double room is cozy and nice

Cons: The breakfast doesn’t really have much choice and the bathroom door is a sliding door which is really inconvenient that it doesn’t lock or close properly.

Great hotel, helpful staff, excellent location

Pros: The location was excellent for me. The complimentary breakfast and round the clock availability of water and coffee made it very hassle free. Also appreciate the laundry machines, the ATM onsite and the marketplace. The daily housekeeping and airport shuttles are bonuses that I did not take for granted. All in all an excellent hotel for the price.

Cons: If I had to nitpick, the ice machines were not working on all floors. And the layout might be a bit cumbersome for people with mobility issues.

Pros: Convenience. Close to airport. Loads of restaurants around and a supermarket too

Pros: Customer service was excellent, allowing a later check out due to a medical emergency the night before. Breakfast had great options and room was big with a comfy bed.

Pros: Close to airport, free shuttle every 30min, good breakfast included. Stores & restaurants nearby.

Cons: Building is a bit run down. Reception area could definitely use some work
