'Boutique' or 'Chatueau'?????? Hmm!

Pros: Stayed as part of a 14 day road trip. Price for one night was very good. Plenty of parking and pool looked nice, although we never used it. Gym and games room an added extra. As restaurant wasn't open we got an Uber into town to a fab restaurant called 'Oakdale'. Highly recommended.

Cons: Not sure about the words 'chateau' and 'boutique'. Quite a standard hotel really which im sure is really busy in winter with the ski season. Whole place had a smell of cooking oil / fat from the kitchen. No bar or restaurant open (apart from breakfast) which was disappointing after a very long drive. Man at check in was very surly and not welcoming at all, however lady in morning on checkout was much better. It wasn't expensive for one night so suited our needs, but nothing special.

Wonderful staff, lovely hotel and cosy place to stay

Pros: The staff let us have early check in after getting out of LA during the fires. The room was lovely and cosy. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff were fantastic, especially Venetia the receptionist

Cons: No restaurant in the evenings except at the weekend in winter

Fun stay for 2 nights

Pros: Room w fireplace and balcony was nice. Breakfast was a typical free breakfast (coffee, buffet of scramble eegs, sausage patties, fried potatoes, yougout, muffins) - one mile from both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain ski resorts.

Cons: An on property EV chargers; microwave in room, better bke goods/more choices for breakfast...NO bar on proprtey for Apres Skiing

Fantastic stay!

Pros: Wonderful location and property for a restful stay! Really appreciated the room with beautiful view on the forest. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend this place! Room with a fireplace.. loved it!

Cons: Breakfast could have been better, missed bread or bagels

Excellent place to stay for one or two nights a Big Bear Lake.

Pros: The King size bed was very comfortable and there was a huge armoir in front of the bed with a mirror. Nice touch. The breakfast was adequate---scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes.

Exceeded my expectations for a Best Western hotel

Pros: Very nice Best Western, exceeded my expectations. Nice walk trail behind the hotel. Comfortable, had everything we needed. Not sure if the AC worked will, the room was warm, but we just turned it off and opened the window, it was nice out.

Pros: O hotel é bem confortável, com boa localização. O café da manhã é compacto mas muito bom. Um ótimo custo benefício. A lareira traz bastante conforto! Os quartos eram limpos. As crianças gostaram muito do salão de jogos

Cons: Acho muito sem sentido a cobrança de estacionamento durante a estadia. Acredito também que a vista dos quartos poderia estar mais “limpa”. Tinha a visão de um depósito.
