Beautiful b&b with excellent host hospitality

Pros: Loved the location of the bed & breakfast. The hosts were welcoming and so helpful for what we needed during our stay. Such a gorgeous house and views. Would recommend to anyone looking for something other than a airbnb or hotel!

Pros: The Topanga Bed and Breakfast is such a lovely place to stay, so quiet and so beautiful. You can walk from the hotel to one path of the Topanga State park which is really enjoyable. I appreciated to be able to do a whole day of trails without taking the car.

Charming, romantic getaway with beautiful paintings

Pros: The Inn is peaceful, romantic, and filled with beautiful art, paintings by one of the owners, Elena Roche. This was very interesting to us, and we were impressed. Craftsman furniture in common rooms, although our room was more art nouveau, which is a favorite of ours. Breakfast prepared by Christian was excellent - even homemade bread. We met interesting people also staying at the Inn , but as I said, it was quiet and a perfect getaway from the busy city.

Pros: A beautiful property in a beautiful location. Great breakfast too and the communal kitchen and living area was really handy.

Pros: The location was ideal for hiking in the state park and visiting locations around the canyons. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was freshly prepared and very good sized.

Cons: Driving up the road was a little harrowing for this midwestern city gal, and the parking situation is tight.

Unique Property, Stunning Location, On The Rustic Side

Pros: Very tasty and homemade breakfast. Very lovely and unique property and the location is stunning. The buildings are well-kept and spacious. The Spanish feeling was authentic.

Cons: The road to access the place is pretty rugged and not in amazing shape. 4 wheel drive is recommended. The rooms could use some amenities like some moisturizing lotion and some bottled water (even though the tap water seemed decent and we were told it is drinkable). At this price point, the bathroom was rustic and could use an upgrade. All of the facilities were functional. The furniture in common areas is starting to show some wear, and although I like antiques, they were not extremely comfortable.
