Comfortable modern accomodation

Pros: The room was spacious and modern. It looks exactly like on the photos. The bathroom was spacious and modern, good shower pressure, warm water. The area and the neighborhood of the motel was perfectly fine + not far from the Ventura downtown. Other mentions that some flowers and plants would be nice to make it feel more homie, I 100% agree. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the duvet was to my liking - thick enough. There was a fridge in the room. The hotel has only one floor = no upstairs neighbors. We loved it. Despite the traffic and occasional talk outside of our room, the room felt quiet. The motel did not feel crowded. Man in the front desk was welcoming and friendly.

Cons: After we booked, we were informed that the motel is undergoing renovation until December 2025, work = noise taking place from 7am until 4pm. That did not bother us, as we came after 4pm and checked out before 7am, but would be good to know before the booking. It is true that motel informs about this in \

Cons: The gap under the door is slightly large, so you may occasionally hear noise from outside.

Pros: it was a wonderful experience. the hotel is renovated, fresh rooms, modern bathroom, very clean. secure entrance door. i traveled alone with my daughter, i felt safe. i did not hear any construction work, although workers were there. i recommend and wish prosperity to this hotel. please keep the rooms clean and cozy

Pros: This is an old motel, just 20 rooms but the good thing is they have been totally refurbished and are stylishly great Ignore the old reviews and believe me they are great, basic but comfortable. I’m very fussy and don’t normally stay at motels but we were let down and needed a last minute room. Trust me these rooms are a gem

Pros: Really clean, recently refurbished. Very comfortable stay, nice comfy bed and great showers. Can park right outside your room and a short walk to the nearest beach. The staff very good - we arrived super late and they checked us in at 2am.

I would stay again, much better than some of the other properties in the area in this price range.

Pros: The room was fresh and newly remodeled. Bed was comfortable. Would have been nice to have a fridge and microwave in room and some bit of quick breakfast available.

Cons: There was a gap under the door and the garbage can was right outside the door. Not the best-looking neighborhood. The back of the property was against an overgrown area, was unsure if car was safe parked overnight.

Pros: Newly remodeled with a friendly owner on site handling all the details. I stayed at this motel 3 times in the past 5 weeks for a total of 12 nights and it is one of the best lodging experiences I have had. Why? Clean comfortable room with a great bed. Quiet. Dark. The photo shows the window has 2 blinds: a blue blind for privacy and a second blackout blind that covers the whole window.

Clean, quiet family run motel. This is my favorite place to stay in Ventura.

Pros: The room has 2 separate blinds. A blue blind that lets in some light while offering total privacy from parking lot. The black out blind covers the whole window and keeps out light at night. Walk to the Thai restaurant for dinner!
