Great location

Pros: This is a tired property with little amenities but I can honestly say location was brilliant, shower fantastic and the beds oh so comfortable. Free parking on site a bonus.

Cons: Paint work on room walls. Time to freshen up.

Adequate

Pros: Stayed here one night as we were going to Universal Studios the next day. Location was ideal to Universal Studios and has good eateries nearby. Asked for an upgrade to an in-room jacuzzi room which came with two king beds. Good sized room. Adequate for our stay, nothing fancy.

Cons: No coffee machines in the rooms. Although they provide free coffee at the lobby.

Lovely hotel

Pros: Perfect location for visiting local attractions, eg, Universal Studios/Universal City Walk and a shirt drive to Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach. It Beach. Rooms were clean and comfortable with staff who were friendly and helpful.

Great location for parks

Pros: Very close to Universal Parks and Warner Brothers tour! We even walked to Universal on one of the days. Great location for the Hollywood sign and Beverley Hills etc. Parking on site. Rooms are a bit tired but it was immaculately clean. Great location, good price!

Cons: Nothing - was great value for money and proximity to parks was fantastic!

Hotel and Staff acted above and beyond expectation.

Pros: During our stay at the Colony Inn, we experienced a break-in of our vehicle. The on -site manager Sam, immediately took control of the situation, providing transportaion and repairs as needed. He turned a very disturbing and costly situation into a minor inconvenience. Thank you Colony Inn and especially Sam for making our Los Angeles vacation a very enjoyable experience.
