Good option

Pros: Good for a stop in the middle of our trip. Barstow is a tiny city, which has the ancient route 66!. The hotel is used mainly by workers, but we felt great as a family, comfortable and really good price.

Cons: Breakfast had not so many options. Train nearby. Not a problem for us, but it could be heard

Lovely stop, like an oasis in the desert.

Pros: Loved our stay at this hotel,the staff were happy cheerful and helpful. We booked this hotel as it had a pool, it was nice having the pool to ourselves and was impressed that staff cleaned the pool overnight, it was just a shame that it looked a little tired. Saying that we would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was a lovely surprise, lots of choice and a very lovely area to eat it in.

A pleasant overnighter in a spacious room close to all we needed.

Pros: It was quiet, easy to access, walking distance to eateries and tasty breakfast.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Was great in all aspects, very friendly at the check-in. Room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. Did stay for only 1 night and I did not use the pool, but it looked very good. Breakfast was nice as well! Would come again, for sure!

Enjoyable, quiet & pleasant

Pros: The room was nicely decorated & clean. The breakfast was good

Cons: Paying the security deposit of $100 when the room cost was less than that. The security deposit also takes too long to be returned. The 3-5 days is not a reality, as it takes 10 days sometimes. After paying this at several hotels each night over 2 weeks, it becomes a problem as you don’t have those funds to use and have to keep track of them. In future I will be asking the question before I book a hotel.

Convenient and clean.

Pros: The breakfast was not what I expected, it was poor. Coffee was poor, pre-packaged Costco cheap pastries. Fruit and juices were not great- only orange and apple juice and fruit.

Cons: Above, the breakfast.
