Fontana Inn

Pros: Pleasantly surprised, clean and comfortable and cute location worked very well for me

Comfortable and affordable

Pros: Fontana Inn was pretty easy to find, though it's a smaller place than I expected but clean inside and out. (The smaller-than-expected size didn't really bother me, though.) My room was a decent size and everything seemed to work. Bed was comfortable and ended up splitting working on my laptop sitting in bed or sitting at the desk in the room. A/C worked well. Decent price.

Cons: Being right on Foothill Blvd. (which is apparently a fairly major thoroughfare and part of the old Route 66, according to one sign I saw), there's quite a bit of traffic noise at night from those who seem to like doing speed runs with uncorked exhausts in their cars. Staff was kind of stoic but competent.

Comfortable for a spur of the moment one-night stay.

Pros: The size of the room was perfect, and having the convenience of a small refrigerator and microwave was great! The toiletries in the bathroom were excellent! More than the higher-priced hotels, with individually wrapped toothbrushes, toothpaste, razor, etc. I had my own but would definitely come in handy for someone who might have forgotten about some of those essentials. The ceiling was painted to look like the sky with beautifully painted birds flying over.

Cons: The bathroom, although looked nice aesthetically, was lacking luster. The shower mat looked dirty, needs replacing and the towels need some upgrading. I understand that laminate flooring is easier to keep clean, but I felt like I needed to wear my socks/slippers.

A very nice, clean hotel for the money.

Pros: It is a nice hotel. Completely renovated. The rooms are very small and spartan, but comfortable. The host was very nice and accommodating.

Cons: The sheets had some stains on them, but nothing I couldn't live with. There is a fair amount of road noise due to the closeness of the highway.

Pros: They let me booke dsuper last minute. Super easy to get too. Small but cozy. Has fridge and microwave.

Cons: Sheets have some stains, tv remote is temperamental about working. If you’re a woman the mirror can be difficult to get ready in.

Perfect small space for a night

Pros: Perfect basic lodging for a night's stay. When all you need is a bed and a shower, but the mini fridge was a nice extra touch.

Cons: It's small but that's the point for the value.
