better than the photographs

Pros: Great choice of food in Stonehaus ,beautiful well maintained grounds.excellent room.Lovely robes and we particularly liked the optional heater in the bathroom.

Cons: the only little change i would make would be to put a bottle in each room which could be filled with drinking water from the reception area as i do not like to pay for for water in hotel rooms.

great stay

Pros: Very comfortable room with sheets of excellent quality.We enjoyed two separate short stays in two different rooms both of high quality.The help yourself tea,coffee and water close to to reception was really appreciated.I felt that the pic did not do the Hotel justice.The grounds were exquisite and really well looked after.Food choices at Stonehaus for all meals were broad and excellent.The wine tasting was brilliant and we tasted some excellent Californians wines.

Cons: would have liked some water in my room without being charged for it.

Main reason for stay was good location for us.

Pros: Friendly staff, lovely grounds, nice pool, location was good for us

Cons: It was pet friendly, which is fine but not when you are being woken up by a barking dog and then also in the early evening, not acceptable. Also plastic cutlery at the Stone Hus restaurant was not great.
