Pros: Happy staff Cookies & water on arrival Location,short drive to beach & restaurants Shopping mall across the road Great bagel and pastry cafe a minute walk from hotel and a Starbucks. Free parking and plenty of it! Happy hour 7 days a week

Cons: Cost of buffet breakfast $28 per person

Best value for a stay in Torrance/ LA

Pros: Nice staff , we got cookies upon our arrival, room was clean and the pool was amazing . Great location in front of the big fashion mall. I will return. Also, room and floor were very quiet and beds were comfy.

Pros: I primarily came to visit family and friends, so I spent my time going out with them. I didnt spend much time at the hotel and didn't use most of the facilities. I appreciated the wifi in the evenings, and watched some streaming TV on my phone, so the wifi connection was good. More important, the staff from the front desk to security and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. I want to specifically acknowledge Gigi, who checked me in and followed up a day or two later to make sure I was comfortable and if I needed anything. The location was personally convenient to me, being near family and friends, but it is also right next to the large Del Amo Mall, as well as other strip malls, banks and brokerages, and a full-size grocery, from as short as 1 minute walk away. So convenient.

Cons: I felt the decor was a bit dated, but otherwise comfortable, and I received good value. The room was large enough to accommodate a small seating area with a coffee table, from which you could relax, snack, and watch TV, or in my case, streaming TV on my phone. The bed and pillows were comfortable, there was a dresser and a closet with hangers, and a mini refrigerator for your personal items. The bathroom had generous counter space.

Great location walking distance to everything

Pros: The hotel was clean. My room was clean.Jacob in the bar was AMAZING!! He made me feel very welcome, super attentive, and professional. The cookies were hot and fresh as usual 😁!

Cons: Parking was super expensive per night. Channels were not working on TV but were quickly fixed upon calling the front desk. The room was small, and the bathroom was super small. I was not offered water as a Hilton Honors member. Other DoubleTree hotels gave me 2 waters when I checked in

Pros: Amenities, fitness center and pool. Good staff. I saw some security personnel. You may want to explain what they do. I would like it if they watched the parking lot because I could not see my car from my room.

Cons: Parking costs $30 to park. I stayed over night. Too expensive fee for parking.

It was a nice stay.

Pros: The room was very clean, the jacuzzi was up and running well.

Cons: The room was very very small, the window looked out on the roof.

All in all it was an excellent experience

Pros: I really enjoyed the breakfast - coffee was very strong just the way I like it'!

Cons: Some slices of the French toast at breakfast were hard (difficult to chew) The air extactor in my bathroom wasn't working Water bottles were limited to only the first day of my stay
