Motel 6-Santa Ana

Convenient place and friendly staff

Pros: Clean and easy access to freeways. Helpful and friendly staff. We left our squash racquets behind when we checked out. They let us go into the room when we returned to collect.

Cons: Laundry room had no coin change machine and front desk was unable to change coin either.

Pros: Convenient for my needs, amazing Pizza just across the road Bari pasta

Cons: Comfortable bed, ample parking

Check in and out is wonderfully fast and easy but now requires a deposit.

Pros: I like that the staff made checkin in and out so easy. They were up and open to checking me out late night/ early in the morning like 5 am and I was able to get my deposit without any problems.

Cons: They now require a $100 deposit fee which is a big issue for a lot of people and usually for me. Also the room smelled terribly of mold and mildew.

Cons: Lo que no me gusto es que la habitacion olia a humo de cigarrillo al parecer alguien fumó ahi anteriormente.

Pros: They transferred us immediately to the new room when we told them that the TV is not working

Cons: When we go inside the room, the tv is not working

Good value and service

Pros: Convenient location for me, nice updated comfortable rooms, helpful staff.

Cons: If you are noise sensitive stay on the backside of property farther away from highway noise

Pros: well over all it was clean quiet and very near the freeway.

Cons: people staying outside on the parking lot.

Great room, property needs a clean up.

Pros: The room was very clean, new and comfortable. The staff, especially Sandra, were friendly and helpful.

Cons: The outside was not up to the high standard of the room. Trash, dirty sidewalks, junk piled around.

Overall, a very positive experience. I would stay again without hesitation.

Pros: The front desk staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. Housekeeping did a great job. Location is good, the Motel is very close to the Santa Ana Zoo, and there is ample parking. I take the bus, and the bus stops right in front of the motel. There is a strip mall across the street, and within it is a small Italian pizzeria and restaurant called Bari. It's on the right side of the strip mall and hard to see, but look for Bari. Great Italian food and reasonably priced. I've been coming to this motel on and off, and one thing that has changed is that the swimming pool has been filled in.

Cons: From what I remember, the A/C could've been a little colder. I should've said something, as the filter may have been dirty. The only negative thing I can say is that there are a lot of homeless people loitering in front of the motel and even across the street. I felt a little unsafe and was very cautious at night. The motel can't control homeless people as long as they don't trespass on the motel's property, so this has nothing to do with Motel 6.
