Hotel MDR Marina del Rey- a DoubleTree by Hilton

Excellent stay!

Pros: Really enjoyed my stay. Perfect location and facilities. And the staff especially at the front desk were so good.

Cons: All good.

Pros: Complimentary cookies and water were a bonus! Lovely front reception staff made check-in enjoyable. Nice quiet room. Only stayed 1 night so didn't use any of the amenities.

Cons: Parking was a bit far from room.

Pros: We did want to come back to the hotel after almost 10 year past we had been staying there for the first time. It was our nostalgic place. It was good recall in the end of our trip in CA. Otherwise, the room was clean and big enough, there is a big parking area with a night guard. The location is good, many options with food around and walking distance to the marina.

Cons: The place literally did not change since we were there 10 years ago. Breakfast was quite meager, but it’s ok, if you stay for a day or two. There is no teapot in the room, we needed with a small kid and had to go to the bar seeking for hot water that we made by microwave.

Central location good value for money for Marina Del Rey

Pros: The room size was big enough even for 3 people. We stayed 2 times in one week king bad was very comfortable located in backside, far from the main road so quite for sleep. The bathrooms is big you have everything you need. Second time we had 2 Quinn size bads were big enough even 4 very good for small family . We tried open buffet breakfast was ok nothing special. It has a very good pool area bar and restaurant . Defiantly worth for money

Pros: I stayed at Hotel MDR in Los Angeles and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very kind and friendly, especially the people at the reception — super nice and helpful! The hotel was very clean, the pool was spotless, and overall I’m more than satisfied with my stay. Highly recommended!

Pros: We had a very pleasant stay. The room was tidy and clean, with comfortable beds, a coffee machine, a fridge and access to the balcony next to a pool. The staff was very helpful and friendly, would definitely recommend the place 👌 👍 😀

20 minutes from LAX, a great base

Pros: Location from LAX was perfect, spacious room, close to restaurants.

Cons: The lift, only 1 was working. Unable to get a coffee after 8pm.

The reception staff made the visit!!

Pros: Staff!!! So friendly and helpful!! I rarely do reviews but I was so made up with my stay I thought I had to come here and do this We only stayed for one night and the female staff at reception let us hang around the whole day the next day, let us keep getting things from our luggage, kept offering my son cookies that he loved. We left very happy and grateful

Cons: the sun stops shining on the pool by around 5pm if I’m remembering right.

A typical Hilton hotel - nothing special but better than your average hotel.

Pros: Large room, friendly staff, pool facilities, food from the restaurant was really nice. A good, typical, Hilton hotel.

Cons: Room view was of car park; not the best surrounding view for the hotel. Not enough sun beds. Picture of pool makes it look far bigger than it is.

Pros: All staff was very sympathetic and service minded. Good breakfast.
