Vagabond Inn Buttonwillow North I-5

Our overall visit was very enjoyable and the staff was Great!!!!

Pros: The staff was very kind and very helpful. The rooms were clean and not only had a microwave but it also had a fridge which was quite nice. They also offered breakfast with a variety of choices and the waffles were very good.

Cons: Although the rooms were very clean, there were quite a few holes in one of the bedspreads in our room.

Pros: A great place to stay at a reasonable price and pet friendly

Can’t beat the price for this place for what you get.

Pros: Nice room and friendly staff. Excellent location and nice room, great price.

Cons: Room had a bad smell but got air freshener and opened window which solved the problem.

Pros: The staff who helped me out was very friendly and fast. Even late at night!

Cons: Good Lord you guys have issues with your plumbing. The pipes are insanely loud. I was woken up every time someone either flushed the toilet or turned on the shower. Realistically I don't know how you could fix that without replumbing the entire building which is a crazy thing to ask, but since you asked what I didn't like. That's what I didn't like.

Pros: The breakfast was dimple but with good options. Excellent and helpful staff. Room was immaculate.

Pros: This is a great stop over if you're tired of I-5 monotone drive and need a little rest. The place is clean, comfortable, they offer a good breakfast and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Clean basic room, good value, good breakfast

Pros: Basic room but it was all we needed to break up a long drive down I-5. Delicious fresh waffles for breakfast in the morning along with milk, orange juice, coffee, and cereal. Small indoor seating area for breakfast as well as nice outdoor covered patio seating. We had a great dinner at nearby Taste of India the night before. Would stay here again if needed!

Cons: No bedside lamp.

Pros: Big spacious rooms, very clean bathroom! Newly resurfaced tub! Customer service was great, very friendly, smiley, courteous ladies at front desk. The location is really close to the 5 freeway entrance & exit. A little older furniture in rooms, had micro & fridge. The fridge's freezer worked great! Rooms were clean inside!

Cons: People upstairs from us were from hell! They were loud, stomping on the floor & arguing at seriously 3am - about 4:30am. I did complain to the front desk, which I believe the hotel worker did go to their door & the people above us would not open the door for the hotel worker? The hotel worker knocked a lot of times on their door & the people knocked back on the other side of the door, like taunting. These bad people were some kind of horrible creatures from hell.
