Courtyard by Marriott Baldwin Park

We had a very good time. We look forward to our next stay!

Pros: People who worked at the hotel were all very nice. The pool was fun. The gym facilities were very much appreciated. The atmosphere was festive, and the facilities supported that feeling.

Cons: Towels were re-supplied every so often and upon request, so that was good. But we didn't realize at the outset that the room was going to be cleaned only minimally during our stay (e.g., trash cans were emptied every other day), and the bed wasn't going to be made. It wasn't by any means a situation without pros (e.g., added privacy), and some of the would-be cons weren't important (having the bed made by staff is overkill, though it used to be a hotel standard). So that was somewhat of a surprise.

Pros: First of all, the staff was amazing, we were greeted and taken care of immediately after arrival. I chose to get ready here for my wedding and stay a couple nights and it was Great! Once the staff knew it was my wedding, they went out of their way to give me a little gift. They were also very accommodating to my guests. The remodel looks great, it's been years since I've been to this hotel and everything was very clean and updated nicely. We will definitely stay again!

Cons: Parken kostet extra An der Bar am Abend leider überteuertes Dosenbier. Frühstücken auch teuer, wir waren nebenan frühstücken

Pros: I loved the overall experience. They have a great bar/bistro. I enjoyed the drinks in the evening and the breakfast in the morning.

Pros: This time, I've stayed here before, the mattress was a little softer and more comfortable. Also, I finally figured out how to pull the TV screen out and angle it so I could see it while in bed. Other times, the mechanism to reposition the screen was so stiff I was afraid I'd pull the TV off the wall - it felt like it wasn't moveable.

Cons: Other times I've stayed, the mattress was like sleeping on a box spring, pretty stiff with very little padding. I stay at this hotel because it's right off the freeway and very close to where my client's business is located. Since the commute is a long one and rather grueling, I want a place with easy access and where I can get some food besides McDonalds. Once I'm at the hotel, I don't want to then have to get out and drive someplace in order to eat. Wish the \
