Pros: Reserved Casita Gundry for work. Peaceful and homey with loads of character. Ideal for rest and inspiration. Perfect location close to highways and Long Beach Airport. Very optimized use of space. Thoughtful decor without being cluttered. Attentive and helpful host.

Cons: Compact, but we were able to comfortably work on large outside tables and inside on the folding tables.

Amazing and beautiful girls retreat.

Pros: Our girls loved the private back patio most. It provided a tranquil environment with a peaceful trickle fountain. Perfect for us to catch up during our little reunion trip. The free-standing clawfoot tub was so relaxing (bubble bath provided.) The walkable location has green, lush trees and is super safe. It was assuring for us girls to book a clean, quiet property with kind, unobtrusive hosts. They were invisible, but there... and never too far to address questions and allow us to feel cozy and well-cared for.

Cons: Originally wanted to be closer to the beach, but we don’t regret our choice for Casita Gundry. There’s great cafes and breweries to walk to and we were able to drive to the ocean in only 15 minutes. The cottage is small (as disclaimed), but Casita Gundry is well-appointed and stocked with everything we needed. The hosts go above and beyond to provide so many extras and little touches that give guests a warm welcome. There is only one wall air conditioner/heater, but it’s effective in making the small guest house comfortable. The beautiful private patio and front terrace are the only areas to socialize and eat, but you can’t beat great Cali weather!

Serene Retreat for My Birthday and Pet Stay

Pros: Not enough words can be said about the hospitality that Lars provided. Treated my dogs and me with love and care. The casita was beautiful. I truly enjoyed the private patio. Linens were clean, bathroom was pristine and he even greeted us with fruit, cookies, pet treats, eggs, pastries, and welcoming birthday salutations on the fridge door. I would 100% recommend this calming casita to anyone. I also appreciated all the recommendations he provided. Had it not been for him, I wouldn’t know where to have taken my pups. They had an amazing time out in the city. Absolutely worth the stay. I celebrated 35 years of life and this stay made special memories.

Cons: No complaints. Every detail was well-appointed and perfection!

It’s been a pleasure to stay at Casita Gundry again and has been the perfect landing pad for visiting folks in the area.

Pros: The style, was immaculately clean, surpassed its photos, and the bed was in incredibly comfortable. The vintage clawfoot tub gave the bathroom a luxurious feel.

Cons: The property was lovely and had no issues.

I would recommend the Casita highly and confidently.

Wonderful weekend getaway with my pet!

Pros: The casita was in a wonderful neighborhood and conveniently located. All the special touches is what sets Casita Gundry a part. I stayed with my dog and there was a jar of homemade treats for her and cookies for me!
