Hotel Dena

Pros: Excellent staff, really helpful and supportive even at a time of high stress. Location is really good, very close to old Pasadena, but in the direction of Caltech, which worked perfectly for me. The hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable.

Pros: Very well located if you need to stay in Pasadena - not quite to explore Los Angeles

Pros: I thought the hotel was very nice. Clean and comfortable.

Cons: I got there about 7:30 pm and I had to wait about 1/2 for my room. I asked the guy, checking me to ask if they could call me a cab in the morning because I was going into the hospital. He said yes. The next morning, I went down at about 5 am. and was told no, they couldn't call for me because I needed to order a cab 24 hours in advance. I told him I needed to go to the hospital, and he told me to check with the evacuation center to see if they could take me. I wanted something light to eat and drink the night before, and when I asked about vending machines, I was told that they didn't have any. They didn't tell me the self check snack area was available near the check-in desk.

Great hotel. Walking distance away from anything you want to do. 10/10

Pros: Great place. Friendly staff. Clean and spacious rooms. The patio area was strange. Overall a great stay. Will be staying here again!

Cons: Patio area was strange or I didnt explore it well enough. Our room right by the entry door was kind of a thing but not a problem. Now I know why the front desk said if we minded that room😆

A relaxing place, in Pasadena.

Pros: The staff were very friendly, to me and my friend. The staff were clear regarding check in and check out, along with answering my questions regarding food delivery services such as Uber Eats.

Cons: One thing that could be better is that the Wi-Fi kicked me out temporarily.

Great hotel in a good location

Pros: Lovely hotel in a great location. Fantastic staff who were always welcoming and helpful - especially Rosie took good care of us in the restaurant and remembered our breakfast orders. The pool area is really inviting. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection.

Cons: There were 3 elevators but only 1 or 2 were working at any given moment. We stayed 4 days so would have expected the lifts to be fixed during this time.

I would definitely stay there again

Pros: quiet. great staff. the restaurant, The Lyric, is great for breakfast. Food, staff, ambience.

Pros: Marie and the manager Michael were absolutely amazing!!!

Cons: The front desk check in experience was not the best. We got to the hotel to check in at 7pm and our room was not ready.. Hard to understand considering the check in time is 4pm.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was nice and answered all questions.

Pros: It was right next to the train stop, so that was really convenient. Store and gas station about a block away.

Cons: I cannot remember if there was extra parking somewhere else, but within the main area, there wasn’t much parking.

Pros: I liked the fact it was right there to the convention center and to the center of town as well.

Cons: Hard to say because everything was really great.
