Good location
Pros: There were a nice coffee machine and a water dispenser in the hallway, and a large supermarket, Trader Joe's, was nearby.
Cons: The hallway was sometimes noisy, even in the middle of the night.

Can't be beaten for location and value
Pros: Exceptional location - 1 minute from the Hollywood/Vine metro stop and the Walk of Fame, excellent value for money, and really comfortable room. The staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of great food nearby. Felt safe walking around at night nearby
Cons: Seems to be an American thing to not have detachable shower heads in the bathroom. No plug for the bath, but didn't ask for one.

Pros: Thanks to the hotel staff for understanding, my flight was cancelled and I couldn't get there on time, they were waiting for me and welcomed me comfortably. The hotel itself is five minutes from the Walk of Fame, there are a lot of different shops and a 7-minute metro ride. The hotel was very quiet, clean and cozy.

Recommended hotel
Pros: Location, complimentary water and coffee, nice staff, good value for money.
Cons: Hotel sign is not lit so it doesn't stand out. An additional baggage stool or shelves would be recommended. Room noisy at night, could not figure out where it was coming from (probably the fridge, but it was intermittent, so not sure.)

Good value
Pros: Good location and very friendly staff. The lady at the reception was extremely helpful, so were the guys. I needed to extend my stay and got a better rate directly via the property. They keep a security deposit. Staff were very helpful and answered all my questions and provided tips. Daily housekeeping. Good wifi. Leave the TV as is or you will lose the signal. There’s a trader Joes and CVS just a stones throw away. Near the Pantages theatre and Amoeba music. However it’s about 10-20 minutes walk to the Hollywood centre and the walk is not very pleasant. You won’t see a lot of tourists during the walk. Can take the train but that didn’t feel safe (better to walk) but centre is just one train station away.
Cons: There’s only a fridge in the room. However, there’s a common coffee machine, microwave and water on the ground floor. (Bit annoying to go in the middle of the night). Also if you’re near the machine, you might hear the noises. We were on second floor and could hear the machine occasionally. You can hear outside noises and once I was woken up around 4am by my neighbour screaming which was not a fun experience. Small room. Can only see the next building through the window. Neighbourhood is as DTLA but we didn’t have any incidents (two females). We were out late at night and managed to walk around, but were always on guard). I’d still stay here cos of the staff and the value for money.

Nice place, small but worth!
Pros: Do you need to keep in mind that this is a hotel primarily designed for sleeping? The room has a comfortable bed and a nice shower, but it’s not a large space. However, it can comfortably accommodate two people with two or three suitcases without any issues. The location is excellent, offering easy access to various places to visit, dine, and socialize.
Cons: The Wi-Fi signal is extremely weak. It would be more honest to say that they don’t have Wi-Fi instead of offering a Wi-Fi that constantly disconnects and has a slower speed.

Boutique hotel near the Pantages Theaterp
Pros: A few steps away from Pantages Theater, Amoeba Music store, Dunkin, CVS & a big Funko store.
Cons: Our window only had a view of the wall of the building beside it. Although Pantages Theater is just at the corner, Argyle St. needs a little more lighting so pedestrians feel safer walking back to the hotel at night.
