Holiday Inn La Mirada Buena Park by IHG

Good stay

Pros: The staff was very friendly and service-minded. The breakfast was ok, but the choices were limited. I was pleasantly surprised by the pool area - comfortable chairs, clean, all in all very nice area.

Cons: The AC in the room was very noisy. There is virtually no noise insulation between the rooms and corridors. We could hear everything from the neighbor rooms and people walking in the corridor. I wish the coffee shop had longer opening hours.

We will stay again in this hotel next time in Los Angeles.

Pros: Well located close to highways in a very safe and quiet area, large parking lot, very nice staff, big room, free wifi.

Cons: Elevators were in maintenance and slow during our stay, free wifi on and off.

Good basic accommodation getting a little tired around the edges

Pros: Friendly staff, good facilities especially the laundry and good breakfast

Cons: A bit out of the way

Overall we were continually pleased throughout our trip with how seamless and easy getting to and from airport and event

Pros: Location and staff and amenities including parking!

Cons: Popcorn ceilings and blackened shower floor, some updating and a power wash cleaning service is in order.

Hotel was very accommodating. I had a pleasant stay.

Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The bed was really comfortable with lots of great pillows. Coffee shop was very convenient and iron and ironing board in the room was very good.

Cons: The shower could have been more modern. There was noise at night, generators I think coming from the hotel.

Had a great relaxing stay.

Pros: Loved that there is a bar and grill at the hotel. We arrived hungry and we were glad we didn't have to go out to find dinner.

Comfort and safety

Pros: Great service if you need special thing and they can provide it like having a room next to elevator, lower floors, extra towels, they make it happen.. Lamar the night manger I think , went out of his way for us and was so kind. This is my hotel when i come into town to visit Northwoods Inn restaurant for events.. thank you for your service's.. Great Hotel.. Be the way Firestone is no longer the exit, it's Valley View the exit from the 5 fwy north coming from Disneyland..

Pros: The check-in person was great. Check-in was seamless. The checkout process was super easy also which is helpful. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice.

Cons: It was clean in the bathroom but there was hair in the bathtub already when I first got there on the wall of the shower that for sure did not belong to us so that was unpleasant. The noise levels outside of the room could have been quieter but that’s not necessarily the hotel’s fault.
