Average hotel, superior location and Marriott as such, though

Pros: All the restaurants, deliveries and shops around - may be the most convenient location I've ever stayed at; comfortable rooms and beds; convenient parking; quiet all day and night, which is worth noting, as most new Marriotts are very noisy with no attention to noise insulation at all.

Cons: At this price, I'd expect decent kitchenette with cups, forks, etc., not just a microwave, basic coffee maker and plastic cups. Needed to ask to make up the room.

Good place.

Pros: Breakfast was as expected. Kind people keeping everything fine. The Hotel was good, there were some shops and restaurants nearby. I couldn't hear much noise in my room. Everything was clean.

Cons: I spent nine days staying at the hotel. I noticed that the shower wasn't working properly. So I went to the reception and explained that it was difficult to use the shower that way. The attendant kindly assured me that she would send someone from maintenance to take a look and fix it up. However, I'm not sure if someone came by, as I struggled throughout my entire stay to take a decent shower, and unfortunately, nobody updated me on whether the issue was resolved or not.

Pros: Acceptable choices for all different appetites. The selections were always replenished efficiently and area kept neat and clean.

Cons: Too close to the front entrance.

Our favourite hotel

Pros: We had a very nice stay at this hotel. Large clean rooms with a nice bathroom. Very nice staff and plenty of parking.

Worth the money!

Pros: Very impressed with this Hotel. Large clean rooms, bathroom was spacious with a nice shower. Very comfortable beds.shopping and restaurants across the road. Breakfast included, a lot of variety to choose from.

Overall great hotel, recommend it and would stay again myself

Pros: - newly built, so everything looks nice and fresh - quiet (there was a train line close by our windows, but we couldn’t hear it and we had good sleep) - good breakfast, it had great coffee, bagels, cheese, eggs (though powdered), yogurts, etc. - calm neighborhood, it felt safe

Cons: - a bit pricey given you have to drive for 45-60 minutes to most of the tourist attractions - windows can’t be opened for fresh air (however, the A/C was good and we didn’t feel any lack of fresh air) - the A/C blows directly at the bed so we couldn’t keep it on while in bed (but it was enough to turn it on for some time before going to bed and then just keep it off for the night)

Enjoyed the stay. Staff were great. Easy location to find and for shopping.

Pros: Room was spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. Plenty of car parking available.

It worked

Pros: The rooms were nice and clean. It was also quiet which I appreciate.

Cons: Not their fault but the intersection where it's located was being worked on and it was 3 lanes down to one, so the traffic was horrendous! Also, the lighting in the room was horrible! In the bathroom, there's a light over the shower stall and a leg over the toilet but the lighting in front of the mirror is behind the mirror so there's just a slight glow around the edges. Well, as a woman trying to put makeup on it's absolutely awful! And then you can't even go into the room and use a different lighting because there is none! They have two small lights on either side of the bed one lamp and there's no lighting in the ceiling at all. Of course it helped that the window was big and brought in natural light but at night it was ridiculous. One last thing, they don't tell you that you need to put your hotel key in a little slot by the door to work any of the outlets or the lights above the bed. So for the first several hours we were sitting in the dark. We finally figured it out when we were searching around for the problem. So that was really annoying to be honest with you. I'm fine with the key in the little slot, but they should at least alert you. We've never had a hotel room like that. But we don't stay in hotels in California so that's probably the problem.
