Vintage RV Creekside Nature Retreat near Ojai next to Swim Holes Hike

I felt very lucky to be able to stay there because the overall area is just so nice.

Pros: The trailhead for the hike up to the Santa Paula Punch Bowls is just a couple hundred feet down the road. Exactly the sort of hike I was looking for--really enjoyed it.

Special place on Sisar Creek

Pros: The setting next to the creek with the outside seating was really special. We knew it was a trailer going into it so no surprises there. The floor space was bigger than we expected and the kitchen was well equipped. Everything was clean. The host was friendly and available.

Cons: As many others have said, you need to be aware there is a smell from the toilet each time it is used.. it helps to keep the lid down and the door closed. The couch that can pull out for a bed was a bit small for our 3rd person who was 5 11. She had to curl up to make it work for her. It was in the living room and not a 2nd bedroom

Other than the bathroom, it was restful, quiet and a good value. Great place t relax.

Pros: Beautiful area on a creek. RV had full kitchen. Outside private area with chairs. Very restful.

Cons: Older RV—we thought it was an apartment. Small tight shower with smelly water. Would have been great if not for the shower size and water smell.

Quiet and serene little getaway

Pros: Quiet, secluded, perfect space to get away. Had just what I needed.

Pros: I loved the quiet, secluded location, and I felt the trailer was stocked with everything I needed for a peaceful stay.

Cons: I was totally fine with it, but it was tricky finding ways to keep the unit smelling good due to the composting toilet. If I’m able to come back, I’ll probably bring a fan and essential oil sprays to freshen the air. It wouldn’t deter me from returning.

Pros: It was nice and cozy. Host was very friendly and helpful. Very quiet and pieceful. Very close to ojai. Would definitely stay there again.

Cons: Was tailgated by a man on a motorcycle when we arrived, and pulled up next to us and questioned us what we were doing there and what we wanted. Because he lived there, We tried explaining to him we were looking for an address. But he just kept staring staring at us and made us feel very uncomfortable. Turned out to be the next door neighbor.

Our stay was wonderful, the weather was great and the area was beautiful.

Pros: The property was not only clean but very peaceful. I loved it.

Cons: It was a beautiful and serene location.

Pros: The deck overlooks a stream which was peaceful. We were there on a rainy evening but they have a covered pergola with a fireplace underneath, and we spent hours tending to a fire, dry with rain falling around us.

Pros: I loved how the outdoor patio is set up! You can hear the water from the river as you sleep which is very peaceful! The hosts were very friendly and very patient with all of my questions. I also loved how close you were to the river!

Cons: Everything was awesome

Pros: Loved the property location, mountainous views and a creek that runs right outside! Everything was clean and instructions were easy to follow.
