The Malibu Ranch Guest House Hideaway was a diamond in the woods.
Pros: We stayed 3 nights for our daughter’s graduation from Pepperdine. The property is only a couple of miles from campus, so was located perfectly for our family. The Ranch House is located in a quiet, woodsy area which felt wonderfully private, yet close to everything we needed. Two bedrooms, great shower, plenty of towels and almost all of the ‘extras’ that you might have forgotten to pack. We used the hot tub twice, and it was clean and heated to the perfect temperature. Would definitely stay again!
Cons: Malibu weather did not agree with us, was drizzly and rainy. No complaints with the property. The Malibu Ranch Guest House Hideaway was just what we wanted.

Relaxing and beautiful
Pros: We loved how tucked away in nature it was! There was a delightful babbling creek and hundreds of frog sounds at night. The grill and patio were perfect. The bedrooms being on opposite sides of the house added extra privacy. Plenty of space for my mom, boyfriend and I. It was very dog friendly as well and our pup enjoyed the creek!
Cons: Only thing that went wrong is we tried to do the over look trail but it was quite overgrown with thistles and other weeds. We turned back about half way and luckily we did because we already found several ticks on us. Obviously the ticks are not the houses fault, but it could be more maintained.

Perfect setting for a weekend in the Malibu area, with or without your dog!
Pros: Stunning property surrounded by nature, yet close to PCH and easily accessible. Very dog friendly, the ranch house was cozy, but plenty big to not feel cramped. It was exactly what we wanted.
Cons: The rain 😂
