Pros: This gated private house in Sherman Oaks was the perfect retreat during our LA visit. It offered privacy, comfort, and the convenience of secure parking—everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The space was clean, peaceful, and truly felt like a home away from home, making it easy to unwind after busy days exploring the city. Eugene, our host, was fantastic. He was incredibly responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. His thoughtful communication and warm hospitality made the experience seamless and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place—or a better host. Highly recommended!

Great property in a safe neighbourhood.

Pros: It was a good sized property, well equipped and very clean. The property had secure parking, It was well maintained and situated in a safe neighbourhood, close to shops and the freeway for easy access to other places. The owner contacted me a couple of times during my stay to check that everything was ok and if he could help. Overall, an excellent experience.

Pros: This flat it was awesome, very clean and there were equipment kitchen and coke very nice, the car park was inside in the garden. The flat not far downtown of Los Angeles 15 minutes by car and 15 minutes by car Santa Monica beach.

Overall a very pleasant stay

Pros: We liked the location which was very close to our daughter's apartment. We also appreciated the private gated parking, although the neighborhood seemed to be quite safe. The seating in the side yard with citrus trees was very nice, although because of the heat wave during our stay we did not have get to use it as much as we would have liked.

Cons: The morning after our arrival we discovered that the Keurig coffee maker did not work. I was very unhappy about this since I really, really need my caffeine fix in the morning. Contacted Eugene who came and took the machine, saying that he would fix it and bring it back that afternoon. Spent the rest of the day with our daughter, who offered to lend us her French press along with some coffee. I did not think I would need it but took it anyway and glad that I did, because the Keurig was nowhere to be seen. Contacted Eugene again and he brought it the following day and it worked. The next morning I had my first cup (yay!) However, when my husband tried to get a cup the machine again refused to oblige. (Here I might interject that he does drink tea, although he prefers coffee.) My suggestion is: since this was an \

Peaceful, quiet, clean and comfortable.

Pros: Honestly the whole house was amazing. I will be booking here more often.

The unit was reasonably priced, well-maintained, comfortable, and ideally located for our needs.

Pros: We wanted a location in walking distance to a relative's house for a family reunion gathering and this unit was right in the neighborhood (all residential, no hotels nearby). We liked the modern amenities and contemporary interior design. Bed was very comfortable and included large pillows and a thick quilted-down bedcover. Bathroom had convenient tub/shower combo with Euro-style hand-held or wall-mounted flexible shower head. Huge walk-in closet in bedroom. Fruit-filled citrus trees in garden.

Cons: A few additional items would have made the unit perfect. There were no towel racks or hooks in the bathroom and no full-length mirror to use while dressing. And while other utensils and tools were spotless, the iron provided had something burned on its heating surface and was unusable. The securely gated parking area was nice to have but a bit tricky to navigate into with anything bigger than a subcompact car.

This was the BEST location we’ve stayed at and the host was excellent!

Pros: We loved the gated parking. The smoke alarm was extremely sensitive. Wish they had a couch instead of a love seat. Toilet was a little sensitive and the hot water took a long time to come on in the shower. The place literally the BEST place we e stayed when seeing our kids & grandkids. Only 7 minutes away. The host was excellent in communication and we so appreciated that. It was higher than we normally pay and would love to rebook for July 2026 if we could have a lower price. The different internet connections on the two TV’s was a little frustrating. Beautiful overall !!

Cons: Kitchen could use some more basics, confusion around if/when we arrived, toilet worked well enough - at times it took multiple flushes
