Hollywood Guesthouse

In general it was absolutely fine for a short period of time.

Pros: The location is in a safe and nice neighbourhood, near to Hollywood Boulevard. It was great with parking there and the room was big enough for us and our luggage. The tips from our host where to buy groceries etc. were really helpful.

Cons: It felt a bit like living in a garage, so the atmosphere was not that comfy. Toilet and shower were installed high, which was a bit challenging. Dishes etc. were only one set each, which means you have to wash everything directly.

Great location, would stay again!

Pros: Fantastic location, close to everything and great access to all main roads to get around LA. Felt really safe and secure in the immediate neighbourhood, great parking. Was good to have a kitchenette for breakfast and simple dinners. Ela is very easy to contact and we had lots of privacy during the stay

Cons: The bed was a little firm (I liked this, my partner found it slightly hurt his back), and it got cold overnight and in the mornings but the split system works quickly to resolve this. The sound from the room next door can definitely be heard but this is no different to many places and luck of the draw if you have good neighbours (ours had the TV on quite loud but turned it off at a reasonable time)

Excellent location and brilliant service

Pros: Excellent communication with owner. Great shower and WiFi. Very clean. Good to have a microwave and fridge and good location. Good sleep.

Cons: Just a tip that it might be nice to have some milk / even powdered with coffee or tea facility. Also instructions for coffee machine . But there is a store very near if you need milk

Perfect for my needs

Pros: Large studio at the rear of Ela’s home. Bed was comfy, ample hot water and kitchenette if needed. Ela was lovely, I had an issue with access code and she responded promptly to assist. The location is great in the residential Hollywood with loads of street parking. It is good value if you don’t mind it being basic. A nice rug and few accoutrements to warm up the space would be lovely. Definitely recommend for the budget conscious traveller.

Cons: cleaning was not on point but maybe it was because we asked for an early checkin

Had a lovely time!

Pros: Modern well kept studio in the heart of West Hollywood. Had all the facilities advertised: cooking appliances, coffee pot, hot plate, fridge, heating, parking, iron Wifi. The location was very convenient. I rented a vehicle and there was ample parking space. Very safe to park and it was free parking. I loved the neighbourhood!! So leafy and residential close to many shops and restaurants. Host was very friendly and helpful. The studio was modern and spotless.

Central location to enjoy breakfast in the sun.

Pros: The location was perfect for exploring the city, close to the hills for hikes, lots of shops in the area. We didn't rent a car, but the parking space is a great bonus. There is a heater/AC, and a patio to have breakfast in the sun. We had a wonderful stay at the Hollywood Guesthouse, and it allowed us to be on the move in LA.

Cons: There were little things that had either run out or weren't provided (like salt, sugar). It was not a fully equipped kitchen, but definitely sufficient for having breakfast / simple dinners.

Pros: Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und zu jeder Zeit erreichbar. Tolle Lage + kostenloses parken. Wir haben es sehr genossen :-)
