My Oasis

Amazing!

Pros: Everything! Very stylish, retro style bnb. The hosts were so warm and supernice! Every detail is prepared for the guests: water, snacks, coffee, tea. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you!!!

Pros: We had a fantastic stay at My Oasis. Very interesting room with so much memorabilia to look at. Michael took me through everything when we arrived and made sure we were comfortable. I can highly recommend My Oasis for a stay in Bakersfield. Wayne and Jess

Pros: Such an amazing place! Beautiful visuals all over the place, I loved haloween decorations! Host was very welcoming, showing us the whole place and gave us a lot of recommendations for food in Bakersfield as well as recommendations for our further trip to Vegas. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, I would love to stay more. Free milkshakes was a nice surprise!

Pros: Such a unique place to create a perfect stay. So many great features and all amenities were great. Milkshakes and M&M vending machine included. No other place like it! Great friendly owners too.

perfect overnight stay

Pros: Rhonda and Mick were super welcoming hosts, showing us around the property and explaining all the facilities. The place was very clean, well presented, and equipped. The motoring memorabilia and 50s furniture and decor made the stay such a special experience and something very much out of the ordinary. They were wonderful to chat to and exchange stories and experiences, and Mick especially shared with us a wealth of information about V8 engine building, drag racing and cruiser cars. Overall a really fun and special experience and we would totally recommend a stay here.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: It was quirky, but it was comfortable and clean. Lots of motorcar racing memorabilia to look at. It has everything you need and the couple who run it are great .

Cons: Nothing, though the nearest local bar was hard to like, so buy something to drink before you get there and sit by the pool

Fantastic find with great hosts

Pros: Communication with the hosts was really easy and everything was exactly as advertised in the listing. The property was also easy to find. The car and hot rod memorabilia was outstanding as was the 50s theme, memorabilia, furniture and fittings. The nice additional touches of milkshakes and breakfast was fabulous and let's not forget the M&M dispenser. The accommodation was spotless and well equipped. The bed was really comfortable and we slept so well.(noting mattress and pillow choices will not suit all, but we felt these were all really comfy, plus the bedding was great as well.) This was night 6 on our 2 week road trip and the ability to wash and dry clothes was a bonus too. The hosts, Mick and Rhonda were so welcoming and hospitable we sat and chatted over a beverage or two during the evening. When back on the West coast we will 100% be booking My Oasis. Thank you Mick and Rhonda for a lovely stay.

Nostalgic stay in Bakersfield

Pros: Lovely place, every detail (coffee, milkshakes, breakfast, even candy from the 1950s machine) present, and a truly cozy and amusing room. When there were some small problems with the wifi, the landlady went out of her way to solve it. It was just great fun.
